Why doesn’t the library visit other successful libraries to get ideas? (Elmhurst, Algonquin, Woodstock, Schaumburg, Arlington Heights, Wheaton, etc.)

Actually, staff and board members have visited many of these libraries to see how they utilize space, and observe what works well. These libraries are very successful, have large attractive buildings with plenty of seating space and many more resources and materials than we have. Unfortunately, they are much larger and have the space to provide these things for residents. Until we have a larger building, we cannot accommodate more materials.
