Learn How to Browse the Catalog

Basic Search
From www.huntleylibrary.org: Select the "Library Items" search option from the drop down menu.

  • Enter a term or terms.

  • Click "GO!" or press enter on your keyboard.
  • The catalog will automatically search the Huntley Area Public Library's collection only. After you complete a search, you will be brought to the library's catalog at http://huntley.bibliocommons.com. Once there, you will also have the ability to search other libraries in our consortium by clicking the box next to the words "Search All Libraries".

  • Enter a term or terms.

  • Click "Search" or press enter on your keyboard.
  • The catalog will automatically search the Huntley Area Public Library's collection only. You may also search other libraries in our consortium by clicking the box next to the words "Search All Libraries".

    You will see the item description, user comments/reviews, ratings and more social networking features. Narrow your search by using the options displayed to you on the left side of the page.

    To use Bibliocommons full features, you will need create an account or log into your account. To create an account, you must have a valid Huntley Area Public Library card and/or a Bibliocommons username and password.

    Once logged in, You may place a hold on an item by clicking on the "hold" button, view checked out items, renew materials, create lists and shelves.
