* * * * * Stars (Amazing!)
Tish’s life is spinning out of control and she doesn’t even realize it until her English teacher, Mrs. Dunphrey, assigns homework. Before then “homework” wasn’t even in Tish’s vocabulary, but now the assignment has become the center of her world, her best friend, and an escape from her abusive father and emotionally-unstable mother.

Review #2
* * * Stars (Pretty good)
This is a short book written in the perspective of Tish Bonner, who writes in a journal. Tish writes about her life problems which include friendships, work, and an absent father. I read this in 7th grade for school and felt like reading it again for the memories. Ahh, memories. I really liked the journaling perspective because it was different. I also liked how the book ended as Tish’s circumstances weren’t the greatest, but you knew she would end up alright.
