In the book, The Lightning Thief, Percy Jackson has a horrible life. He has been kicked out of every school he has ever been to. He is just starting to learn about his father. I liked this book because it was funny and was hard to read.

The Lightning Thief was about a boy named Percy Jackson who found out he was a half-blood and the son of Poseidon, rule of the seas. He and his friends Grover and Annabeth have to return Zeus’ stolen lightning rod. Along the way they fight the Kindly Ones and many other monsters. At Camp Half-Blood, Percy recognizes Mr. Brunner as Chiron. I really liked this book and I will continue to read this series.

This book is about Percy Jackson and his friends Annabeth and Grover. Percy Jackson learns he is a powerful demigod and is sent on a quest with his friends to retrieve Zeus’ master bolt before a war of the gods starts. I like this book because it’s really funny and full of action.

Percy has found out he is half-god and his father is Poseidon. He must find Zeus’ Master Thunderbolt before it’s too late to clear his name. He must travel to the Underworld, confront Hades, and save his mother.
I liked it because there’s a lot of action and surprising twists. I also like the Greek mythology and how it’s tied in with everything else.

Percy is a half-blood. His father is Poseidon, the god of the sea. Zeus thinks Percy stole the lightning bolt. So Percy has to go on a quest to find who stole the lightning bolt. I liked this because it has good details, action, and it’s mystical.

The Lightning Thief is about a boy named Percy Jackson whose dad is a Greek god and whose mom is normal, which makes him a half-blood. Being a half-blood gives him powers and puts him in danger throughout the book. I liked how adventurous this book is and how it involves a little bit of history.

Zeus and Poseidon will have a big fight if Zeus doesn’t get his lightning bolt back, and Zeus accuses Poseidon of taking it and giving it to Percy. Will they fight or will Percy figure out the real thief?
