In the book Love Aubrey an 11 year old girl named Aubrey is abandoned by her mother after a car accident that killed her dad and little sister Sahvanna. Her grandmother comes, finds Aubrey alone, and takes her to live at her house. Aubrey’s grandmother tries to find her mom. Aubrey struggles along the way, sick to her stomach when she thinks about her family, but with the help of friends and writing letters about how she feels, Aubrey is becoming happy. Aubrey finds her mom and both her and her mom are getting better and will live together again when they are ready. I loved this book – sometimes it brought tears to my eyes!! I love books with happy endings!
