Discover New Books Using NoveList
If you have used NoveList to help you pick out books to read in the past, you might have noticed a recent interface redesign. If you have not yet tried it, now is a great opportunity!
NoveList is available to Huntley Area Public Library cardholders from home by logging in at http://www.huntleylibrary.org/eresources/ or by stopping in the library and using a public computer.
NoveList can help you locate both fiction and nonfiction books that you might enjoy reading. You can discover new books and authors by looking for books that are similar to others than you have read and enjoyed. A new feature is the ability to find good books by “appeal words” such as “fast-paced” or “character-driven.” The interface redesign should improve your ability to find recommended books and also provides reasons why a particular book or books are suggested.
Other improvements include an easier way to print a variety of book lists, including lists of books in series and the prominence of a search box on every page. If you are part of a book club, NoveList includes book discussion group guides for many titles.
If you have any questions, stop by, call, or email the Information Desk!
