The Huntley Area Public Library is pleased to announce its new Library2Go Service.
Residents in the library district [1] who are unable to reach the library or leave home as a result of a disabling condition or lack of transportation. You must also have a Huntley Area Public Library District card.
Contact the Circulation Desk at 847-669-5386 ext. 12 for details on registering for a library card.
The following library materials are available for delivery through the Library2Go Service: books, audio books, magazines, DVDs, and music. "New" DVD movies are not available.
Once your application has been received, a staff member will contact you. Library2Go patrons request specific materials and/or request that a librarian selects items from a list of your preferences. Materials are then delivered to your home. The frequency of the deliveries is once every three weeks.
The service is free. The payment of overdue fines is waived for homebound patrons when the library is at fault (i.e. pickup/delivery problems). However, you are responsible for the cost of lost and damaged items.
If you or someone you know are interested in receiving Library2Go Service, please read the parameters [2] and fill out the application [3]. Contact the Information Desk at 847-669-5386 ext. 21 for more information or to request print copies of the parameters and application. Mail completed applications to Library2Go, Huntley Area Public Library, 11000 Ruth Road, Huntley, IL 60142.
