Computers at the Library

The Huntley Area Public Library District offers valid Illinois library cardholders free access to the public computer network, including the Internet, the library's subscription databases, and the library's computer software. Out-of-district visitors may apply for a temporary visitor pass by showing valid picture identification at the Circulation Desk. This service is offered as a way to enhance the library's existing collections with computer resources and information networks from around the world. Printing Pages

A print dialog box will inform you of the number of pages and the cost. You may cancel your printing here. If you click OK, your printouts will be available at the Information Desk for you to take upon completion.

• Black & White Printouts: $.10 per page
• Color Printouts: $1.00 per page

Fax Service

The library has a self-service fax machine from FAX24 at the Information Desk.  You can use a Visa, Mastercard, American Express, or Discover credit or debit card or a prepaid fax card. A prepaid fax card, called "FaxCash", can be purchased at the Information Desk for one, two, three, or six page faxes.

Faxing rates are:

• USA: $1.50 for 1st page, $1.00 for each additional page.
• International: $4.95 for 1st page, $3.45 for each additional page.

This fax machine only sends outgoing faxes. It does not support incoming faxes.

Copy Machine

The library has a self-service copy machine available for public use.
