Zinio is the world's largest newsstand and bookstore. With its many digital products and services, Zinio creates better ways for people to discover published content, get more of it and do more with it.
The library has partnered with Zinio to deliver a selection of digital magazines to Huntley Area Public Library cardholders.
We've attached a handy Zinio Brochure that you may download to help you with the setup process.
You will create two accounts for Zinio Digital Magazines for Libraries – one to access the library collection and a second to view the magazines in a Zinio Viewer account. The Zinio Viewer account enables access to free desktop and mobile apps.
To get started accessing the library’s Zinio collection, to create your accounts, and to add new magazine titles, visit the library’s Zinio gateway address at www.huntleylibrary.org/zinio from a web browser. In the future, you will use the library’s Zinio gateway address to add new issues from a web browser.
After your two accounts are established, you may go directly to www.zinio.com and log in with your email address and Zinio password. Select “Read” at the top of the page to access your library titles.
Remember to return to the library’s Zinio gateway address using a web browser whenever you wish to add new issues to your Zinio account from the library’s collection. All of the titles the library provides are free and paid by a library subscription with Recorded Books, so you will NEVER be asked for a credit card in the library’s Zinio gateway. If you are asked for a credit card number, you have entered Zinio’s commercial site. Try returning to the library’s Zinio gateway address to see if the title is available for free through the library. The library collection has no checkout period or issue limit.
