Freegal Music gives you access to millions of songs from over 10,000 labels including the Sony Music catalog of your country. Library users have a weekly download limit of 3 songs. You will be able to keep track of your downloads in the upper right corner of the site. Every song has a sample clip you can listen to before you download.
The downloads are all in the MP3 format with no DRM. This service will work with any MP3 player, including iPod, and can be loaded into iTunes. It works on both PCs and Macs. FirstSearch offers access to scholarly publications through 14 databases including ERIC and MEDLINE, but it is a more difficult database to search with fewer full-text articles than InfoTrac. To view the complete list of databases and their descriptions, choose "List All" from the left-hand side of the FirstSearch Home screen. You will be able to print any article you are able to view on your screen. You may also email documents or citations. Articles that are not full text on the database may be able to be delivered to you through interlibrary loan. Call the library's Information Desk for more information.
