Huntley Area Public Library Program Room Policy

The Huntley Area Public Library offers the use of its program room for civic, educational, cultural and public information programs and meetings. Where necessary, priority use of the room will be given to groups in the following order:

1. Library sponsored (including Friends' Foundation) meetings or programs.


Library History

In November of 1989, a referendum was passed by the citizens of Huntley and surrounding areas to form a library district. The first Library Board included Len Borhart, Jan Crabill, Richard Drendel, Hazel Kloempken, Karen Kohley, Frances Sheets and Chuck Ruth, President.
