Apps are applications, or programs, that are used on mobile devices, including iPhone, iPad, Android phones and other devices. Specific brands have specific "app stores" or websites from which apps can be downloaded onto your device. Some apps are free, and some are offered by communities and organizations (like the Huntley Library) which help you access services and/or databases via your mobile device.
