There was only one who once outsmarted dear Sherlock Holmes.  Her name was Mrs. Irene Norton.  And this is how…  Later in the day the King of Bohemia came to visit Sherlock because he had to tell him of a great matter.  His late ex-girlfriend forged a letter and a picture to look like they were still together.  But the king was already going to be married.  So Sherlock dressed up as a homeless man. Then, while Irene was coming back home, these men tried to steal her purse, but Sherlock acted like he stopped them.  He acted like he was knocked out and Mrs. Irene said to take him inside.  Dr. Watson threw a smoke bomb in and Sherlock knew that she would go after the picture and when she did he jumped out the window and returned home.  The next day Sherlock got a letter saying that the lady left and she would not return, but she would use the picture if she had to.

He lives on the most memorable 221 B. Baker Street and has inspired countless shows and movies.  His stories are literary brilliance.  They have a cleverness about them that gives it an almost witty feel!
