Celebrate National Library Card Signup Month with the Huntley Area Public Library

September is National Library Card Signup Month and we’re asking for your help to promote literacy in our community by showing just how valuable a library card is. A library card provides endless opportunities for all ages to explore books, ebooks, movies, music, video games, genealogy resources, Scholastic online resources, Creativebug crafts, Linkedin Learning self-improvement video classes, and much more.
When the full library opens in 2022, it will bring a plethora of new services to the community. Highlights include a music/video production studio, a creative studio/makerspace with 3D printers, a large poster printer and other services, five study rooms, and a conference room.
Would you like to help us increase the value of the Huntley Area Public Library card outside the library? You can by providing a small discount or free item/service when a customer shows you a Huntley Library card during the month of September 2021.*
For your participation, you will be recognized in the library’s newsletter that is mailed to 20,000 homes in the library district, and on our social media channels, website, and internal promotion for this yearly event.
What we need from you:
- Description of your offer and how a patron would claim the offer
- A camera-ready logo in .jpg, .gif, .png, or .pdf format
- Company name, street address (if applicable), and website address
- Contact person at your business and contact information if we have any questions
If you or your business are interested in participating, please contact Doug Cataldo at 847.669.5386 ext. 229 or via email at dcataldo@huntleylibrary.org with the details of your offer or discount no later than August 15, 2021.
We look forward to hearing from you and working together.
P.S.: Would your business be interested in having a Huntley Area Public Library card for you to explore these resources? Just ask how. We are happy to help get you started!
