Dream Library Event for Teens

Dream up a library event for teens. What event would you plan for the library? This activity is part of the 2025 Teen Summer Reading Challenge: Level Up at Your Library! To get credit for completing this activity, write down (paper reading log) or enter the code (Beanstack participants) you receive once you’ve submitted your answers. This code will appear on the page that loads after you submit. For ages 12 - 18.

Name(Required)
Enter your first and last name.
Enter the name of your event here.
Describe your event.
For our library "teens" = grades 6 - 12, but your event can target middle school "teens" or high school teens separately depending on whether it would be better/more appropriate for younger or older "teens."
This could be library staff, an outside presenter/performer that we hire - you can recommend someone specifically - you, a group/organization, etc.
What is this event for? Examples: entertainment, to encourage reading, teach a new skill?
Estimate, if you don't know exactly, how much this event would cost. Consider and list what supplies the library would need to obtain in order to make this event happen, and/or fees for presenter/performer.
How long will the event last? Is it a one-time event or a recurring event/class with multiple sessions?
Share a brief timeline of what will take place during the event. For example, a book club might start with introductions, then a game, then everyone sharing something about the book they've read, then an activity related to the book with casual conversation.
