If you're a thirty-teen like me, you might remember devouring R.L. Stine's Fear Street series when you were a teen/tween. Well, fans, R.L. Stine announced in an interview with BookRiot's Sarah McCarry that he's going to be reviving and adding to the series.
"R.L. Stine: I wrote 80 Fear Street books back in the eighties and nineties and killed off a lot of teenagers. I thought, “Maybe I’ve killed off enough teenagers.” But you never kill off enough teenagers, right? [laughter] I haven’t written one of these in twenty years, but thanks to Kat [Brzozowski, Stine’s editor at Thomas Dunne Books] we’re bringing it back and I’m going to do a bunch of new ones."
Kids and teens have been enjoying Stine's books since he started writing them back in the '80s – we still have some of these original titles in our collection, too. The Goosebumps series even made it onto DVD!
