Here we Grow Huntley Area! The 2021 Summer Reading Challenge is live! Participate online or with a paper log now through August 7, 2021. See the descriptions below to find a program for you and/or your family. We offer Children’s, Teen, and Adult reading programs for all ages. Stop in for all of your book, movie, and music needs to meet your goals as you try to complete the challenge. Be sure to visit huntleylibrary.org/digital-programs to enjoy a variety of virtual programs all summer and beyond. Grow with us as we get closer to completing our building program and having the full library open to the community. Have a fantastic summer of reading and fun!
Ages 18 & Up
Participate for chances to win one of our grand prizes—a $25 gift card to a local business.
Online Option: Sign up at huntleylibrary.beanstack.com to earn badges and grand prize tickets by reading and completing library-related activities.
Paper Log Option: Download a paper log from the library’s website or pick one up at the Information Desk and read for grand prize tickets.
Prepare for the June 9 start date by picking up your reading log at the library or download and print a copy using the link below beginning May 28.
For Ages 12 – 18
Take part in the Teen Summer Reading Challenge and complete activities to earn entries into the grand prize drawings for various $25 gift cards to local businesses.
Participate online using Beanstack at huntleylibrary.beanstack.com, pick up a paper log at the library, or download one and print it at home using the link provided below.
Those who finish the Challenge will receive a small prize for their accomplishment.
Pre-register starting May 28. Challenge begins June 9.
For Ages 0 – 12
New this year: track your reading, program participation, and activities for points toward prizes.
If you’ve used our Beanstack online tracking before, you are preregistered for Summer Reading and ready to go on June 9.
