As the holiday season approaches, the library will close to observe Christmas, and the New Year. Please consult the Holiday Closure Dates for 2023 below to determine when the library will be open and when it will be closed.
Holiday Closure Dates for Christmas/New Year
The Huntley Area Public Library will be closed for the Christmas holiday on December 24 and 25, 2023, with all book returns secured beginning at 5 p.m. on Saturday, December 23. No late fees will be incurred as we are a fine-free library. Business operations will resume on Tuesday, December 26 at 9 a.m.
Additionally, the library will be closed on December 31, 2023, and January 1, 2024, to usher in the New Year. Book returns will be secured beginning at 5 p.m. on Saturday, December 30. Business operations will resume on Tuesday, January 2 at 9 a.m.
