The Invention of Hugo Cabret is about a 12 year old boy who finds a mechanical man and thinks it holds a mysterious message from his dead father. The main character is Hugo Cabret. Other characters are Isabella, George Melies, Mama Jeanne, Monsieur Tabard, Station Inspector. I liked this book because it gives you suspense and is a good, compelling read.
