* * * * * Stars (Amazing!)
Cal was more interested in meeting girls than attending freshman biology, but after spending a night with Morgan, biology had become his life. He was infected by a parasite that has a horrifying effect on the host. But Cal isn’t a full blown “Peep,” he just has some of the effects. But, he can’t ever be with a girl again, or else she’ll become a peep. So he spends his time hunting down peeps, but then meets a girl named Lace. I liked this whole book even though I don’t usually like sci-fi.

* * Stars (Just ok)
I read the Uglies series by Scott Westerfeld and loved them, but I was very disappointed in Peeps. The major problem was that it wasn’t a very well thought out story, so reading it was very boring. I think people who enjoy science fiction might appreciate this book, but otherwise I wouldn’t recommend it.

Review # 3
* * * Stars (Pretty good)
The main characters are Lace and Cal. Cal is a carrier of a parasite that turns people into vampires that hate what they once loved. Cal doesn’t have these symptoms so he hunts and captures the infected people, which they call PEEPS. During his hunt Cal meets Lace and discovers that there is something horrible to come, which is explained in the sequel. I thought this book was good, but not great because it dragged on in some parts and the plot was good until you find out about the horrible thing to come.
