The Princess Diaries
Princess Diaries series #1
by Meg Cabot
Realistic Fiction

This book is a lot different than the movie. Honestly, I like the movie better. The book was ok. Mia still gets told that she’s a princess and she gets lessons and all that. And she fights with her best friend, Lilly and falls in love with Michael, Lilly’s brother.

These books are awesome [Princess Diaries series]! I am on the 4th one right now and it’s amazing. The books are about Mia Thermopolis at Albert Einstein High School and what happens in her typical day of high school. And they’re not about just any teenager because Mia found out that she is a princess and has to face people making fun of her along with princess lessons from her grandmother, and trying to keep it a secret that she’s in love with her best-friend’s brother. Waaaaay better than the movie on many levels!
