In the Beaumont family, when your 13th birthday rolls around you discover what your “savvy” is. Having a savvy is a lot like having a special skill or talent, except that there’s no way to tell what your savvy is going to be until it shows itself. Like Mibs’ brother Fish, who found that his savvy can make storms and hurricanes blow up if he gets too near a large body of water. And look out if he gets upset! When Mibs’ turns 13, discovering her own savvy is the least of her worries, as she gets caught up in a whirlwind adventure on a pink bus, with the cops searching for her and her family! I found myself wanting to be a part of her family, with her perfect mom, and her electrifying older brother! See if you agree!
