A thirteen year old girl was found in the back of a seventeen year old’s truck…BY HER DAD! She wasn’t trusted by anyone! I liked this book. I could never put it down! It was so suspenseful. It was also hard to understand sometimes.

A girl named Deanna Lambert has an interesting life. She has a secret that follows her through her life. Her father is ashamed and barely talks to her, everyone talks behind her back, and the only person she talks to in her house is her niece (a baby). Then, she starts to work things out between people, but goes through obstacles along the way.
