Read to a Dog is a monthly program for families at the Huntley Area Public Library.  The volunteer animals are licensed therapy dogs and are accompanied by their owners for the program.  Families sign up for a fifteen minute time slot.  Readers can bring a book from home or choose one from the library. It was all about pigs at the May Pajamarama. We read a couple books about pigs, including, “Piggies in Pajamas”. Then we counted pigs playing in the mud. And we made our own pig to take home. Oink!
