Updates to Wireless Internet Access

Beginning October 26, 2012, wireless devices will be able to access the Internet in the library by simply connecting to the network – no login or password required.  

Although no Internet filter is 100% effective, effective October 26, 2012, access to spyware/phishing/malicious code, peer-to-peer file sharing and pornography will be filtered.  At that time, individualized wi-fi settings, which in some cases, were more stringent, will no longer be apply.
