Tip of the Month

Has your group tried a “modern retelling” of an old classic?  Some possible titles would be Eligible by Curtis Sittenfeld (Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice), Emma by Alexander McCall-Smith (Jane Austen’s Emma), The Story of Edgar Sawtelle by David Wroblewski (Shakespeare’s Hamlet), A Thousand Acres by Jane Smiley (Shakespeare’s King Lear) and Circe by Madeline Miller (Homer's The Odyssey).
