The plot is about a boy who encounters his family’s gruesome death, and his need to figure out why this and many other things that happen – including his just-gained magical powers. The main character is Grubbs Grady. The evil villain is named Lord Loss. I really enjoyed this book and many other teens that like dark and demonic things also would agree. I didn’t want to put this book down and I am now reading the second book in this series.
