Goldie, Ava, and Imogen have been best friends since they met at camp their first summer and now they are counselors. Over the past year, however, they’ve kept certain details about their lives hidden from one another and their secrets are getting in the way of their friendship. Goldie, for instance, is still dealing with the fallout from the car accident she took the blame for. When Goldie’s ex-boyfriend’s body is discovered in the camp’s lake, and Ava’s father’s shady business dealings come to light, the girls have to trust each other if they want to survive. Although some readers will probably see what’s coming, there’s plenty of suspense and shocking revelations, to keep the pages turning. For high school teens.
