After Violet, Klaus, and Sunny Baudelaire left the lumberyard, they had to go to a boarding school named Prufrock Preparatory School. There, Vice Principal Nero makes baby Sunny his secretary and she has to staple paperwork, answer phone calls, and other stuff. The Baudelaires meet more orphans – the Quagmire triplets (they’re actually 2, because 1 of them got burnt in a fire, like their parents). Count Olaf disguises himself as Coach Genghis.
