Going on RIGHT NOW in Program Room #2 – the inaugural session of Girls Click Bricks, our new LEGO building program for girls in middle and high school. In case you missed it, we had an alpaca at the library in August, 2024. Rainier came out to visit from Magic Meadows Alpacas (Wonder Lake) along with his caretakers, Sally and Mike Kazanis. We read Super Pancake this month as a group, shared other graphic novels we are reading and practiced our drawing skills. We also watched a video on how to draw a dragon and picked our next graphic novel: Four Eyes by Rex Ogle. Do you like graphic novels and/or drawing? Join us next time!
Creatives of all ages came to this workshop tailored to help enhance storytelling abilities. Led by industry experts Chris Woods and Ben Torres, who bring decades of experience in entertainment design, attendees were inspired in their dreams of crafting novels, designing immersive video games, or envisioning blockbuster films.
