Teens in grades 6-12 recreated a wintery scene in acrylics while enjoying cookies on a cold afternoon in December.
Teens in grades 6-12 made a multitude of different soaps using the melt and pour method. Check out their wonderful creations!
Over sixty people stayed for our first Forts and Flashlights program last Friday night. We had fun building forts, enjoying trail mix snacks, and reading while the library was closed! Enjoy photos of this month’s Read to a Dog! Read to a Dog is a monthly program for families at the Huntley Area Public Library. The volunteer animals are licensed therapy dogs and are accompanied by their owners for the program. Families sign up for a fifteen minute time slot. Over 700 people attended the annual Holiday Open House at the Huntley Area Public Library on Friday, December 1, 2017. They enjoyed musical entertainment from Dave Gutshall and Andy Huber, a treasure hunt, face painting, refreshments, horse-drawn trolley rides and a visit with Santa and the Grinch!
