I like all of the Dork Diaries books because there is a different message in each of them. My favorite one is #3 because Nikki and her friends form a band for a contest and they have lots of different scenarios and adventures.

Nikki Maxwell isn’t such a rich kid like most students at Westchester Middle School! She is there on scholarship because her dad is the bug exterminator at the school. Nikki is feeling very comfortable thanks to her girlfriends, Chloe and Zoey. She has a crush on her very budding friend Brandon. The biggest problem is this girl Makenzie. Makenzie is very popular at her school. So, go read “Tales from a Not-So-Talented Pop Star.”
