I Hate Running and You Can Too: How to Get Started, Keep Going, and Make Sense of an Irrational Passion

Nonfiction
* * * * * Stars (Amazing!)

Despite being a ultrarunner, Brendan Leonard mostly hates running except when he loves it briefly. This is a short, encouraging, and realistic look at how you can start your own love-hate relationship with it. It might get you out the door and on your way to figuring out your own definition of “running,” lead you to embrace whatever it means to you to “be a runner” and make you laugh along the way. Sometimes walking is running. You don’t have to run the whole distance. There will be times when you actually enjoy it. And you can pretty much do it anywhere at any time.
