Pia is raised in secret, and in the middle of the rainforest, created to be immortal and thought she knew her purpose; to help create more immortals and begin a new race of humans that live forever. Her life rapidly changes as she discovers a hole in the confining and electrified fence that she crawls out of it discover a handsome blue-eyed boy and a tribe of mortals. As she falls more in love with the boy and the tribe, she starts to discover dark secrets about the seemingly loving scientists that created her. I really liked this book because it was mysterious and kept me on the edge of my seat, unsure of what was coming next.
