The book Scars is an amazing book! There are a lot of heartfelt, deep ideas written in this book. Kendra, a fifteen-year-old girl, doesn’t feel safe because of her childhood memories. She can’t remember her abuser, but he somehow keeps sending her messages. Threatening messages! Kendra’s friends along the way support her the whole time. The end is the best! You especially need to be older to read and understand this book, but I give it 5 stars!

The book Scars is about this girl named Kendra who is 15 and was sexually abused and raped when she was younger. She doesn’t remember who raped her so she struggles with the memories. Kendra also cuts herself and goes to therapy to deal with the pain. Kendra is an artist so when she gets threatening notes she portrays her feelings through her art. Through this she makes a relationship with her girlfriend.
