For Little Steamers, Miss Melanie provided several items for each child to see which one was heavier. Was a bracelet or a piece of wood heavier? How many pennies weighed as much as a colored stone? So many questions we had to answer. The kids did great and went home with a colorful bracelet.
Young kids and their caregivers worked together to make a volcano out of a pumpkin with a few simple ingredients. Preschoolers are naturally curious, and introducing them to Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (STEAM) at an early age can be both fun and educational. Kids of all ages joined us to celebrate Halloween by creating a monster-themed sensory jar! Don’t be scared to check them out…really, they are cute and creepy!
