In case you missed it, we had an alpaca at the library in August, 2024. Rainier came out to visit from Magic Meadows Alpacas (Wonder Lake) along with his caretakers, Sally and Mike Kazanis. Folks who attended the program got to meet and interact with Rainier (he was a real star!) and also learned a lot of cool facts about alpacas. Rainier is a Suri alpaca and has the softest fleece. He made some real interesting noises, too! Check out some photos from the event below:
