Little Bookworms is an ongoing library program that encourages all families and caregivers to read 1,000 books (or more) with their young children before Kindergarten.

Genre Quest
Genre Quest is the newest ongoing reading program at the Huntley Area Public Library! The primary goal of Genre Quest is to introduce students to different genres and reading formats and to inspire them to explore the vast world of children’s literature.

In observation of the Memorial Day holiday, the Huntley Area Public Library will be closed on Monday, May 25, 2026. The exterior book drop will close the night before, Sunday, May 24 at 5 p.m. The library will reopen on Tuesday, May 26, at 9:00 a.m.
