Tegan Oglietti’s life is just getting good when a sniper’s bullet accidentally finds her. She wakes up confused and disoriented 100 years later – the first successful revival in a cryogenics experiment. As Tegan learns more about the world she now lives in she’s equal parts delighted and dismayed to discover what’s changed – for the better and the worse. She’s not the most cooperative subject, however, and refuses to provide assistance until the military grants her some concessions. She wants to be able to have some kind of life other than that of an experiment. Once she’s out (sort of) in the real world, though, she discovers that her keepers have also been keeping secrets. Not certain who to trust, but desperate for answers, she and a couple of friends strike out on their own. A fast-paced, science fiction thriller with a window into a disturbingly possible future. Are we headed there?
