This book is about a high-speed heist with very interesting characters of Kaz, Jesper, Wylan, Inej, Nina, and Matthias. The book is really interesting and exciting as they fight to make sure their heist goes on as they try to get their reward money. It was really interesting to see all of the different perspectives of all the different charcters.

“Six of Crows” by Leigh Bardugo follows Kaz Brekker, a criminal mastermind who assembles a crew for an impossible heist. They must infiltrate the Ice Court, a highly secure fortress, to retrieve a valuable hostage and earn a large reward. The team consists of a sharpshooter, a spy, a soldier, a runaway, a convict, and a Grisha (a magic wielder). As they face many obstacles and betrayals, they must rely on each other to survive and succeed.
I loved how Six of Crows kept me on the edge of my seat from the first page of the book. I loved Leigh Bardugo’s writing style and how she went to lengths to describe everything. I loved how we got to see the context for each character from the different perspectives in each chapter. The plot is full of twists and turns, which is what makes it exciting. If you read the Shadow and Bone series, you would get more context into the book, but it is optional. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who likes fantasy books. For middle and high school teens.
