Very captivating. Love the pictures.  The story is so believable. I can so relate to her getting braces. Her whole family is pretty much EXACTLY like mine. CREEPY.

I liked “Smile” because the girl in “Smile” Raina had a lot of things happen to her teeth. She knocked her adult front two teeth but had to have one of the teeth back where it was while the other tooth didn’t even fall out. It got pushed into her gum and they had to pull it down. I also liked how the story ended.

The book “Smile” was a great book! The illustrations were amazing. They helped me understand the story more. The main character and my feelings were similar to when I got braces. We both did not want to get braces. But my sibling was not going to make fun of my braces.

The book really kept me glued. The story interested me because it described a girl’s experience with braces and what it was like having them. I have braces of my own and I liked that I agree with and felt what her complications and difficulties were with the braces. The illustrations were also very colorful and expressed the characters emotions well.

In my opinion I think that this book is pretty good. I think this because it had many interesting parts and pictures.

One part that is cool is when Raina has to go to the orthodontist and finds out that she has to get braces. She didn’t like it when she got them, but she got used to it.

This book is so good I couldn’t put it down. Raina finds out she has to get braces and it’s horrible. Nothing can get worse until she is racing her friends to the front porch and she trips and falls! Everything is fine until she sees all the blood on the lawn and realizes her two front teeth are missing. Throughout this book she will have to face growing up, puberty, and BOYS!

As she’s going through a rough time, Raina goes through some tough times at school. I liked this book because I am in this situation.

There is a girl named Raina and she needs to get some braces. One night when her friends were dropping her off at the door, they raced and Raina fell and knocked her two front teeth out. So she went and got fake teeth and braces and she did not like it. When she was in high school she got them out. So now she is done.

The book tells the story of a girl named Raina and how her life changed after she gets major dental work that lasts from middle school to high school. I like the story because it is relatable.
