Sarah Natale (Mondello), book publishing professional and author of the award-winning historical fiction book, The Kiss of Death, which received a publishing contract when she was a teenager, spoke about the publication process –  including inspiration, research, the importance of editing, publication routes, and promotion – to an enthusiastic audience of adult and teen writers this past September. 2017 Very Merry Huntley Holiday Open House Gallery

Over 700 people attended the annual Holiday Open House at the Huntley Area Public Library on Friday, December 1, 2017. They enjoyed musical entertainment from Dave Gutshall and Andy Huber, a treasure hunt, face painting, refreshments, horse-drawn trolley rides and a visit with Santa and the Grinch! Pajamarama June 2017 Gallery

For this month’s Pajamarama, we talked about superheroes.  We read Mighty Max by Harriet Ziefert, where we learned an ordinary boy can be a superhero.  Then we read about everyday superheroes, like policemen, fire fighters and even Mom and Dad!  We made a paper bag superhero and enjoyed flying them around the room!
