Participants created fantastical capture jars containing dragons and fairies, and tiny fairy lights in this fun class.
Tweens turned black and white photos into amazing pop art portraits, making a set of 4 mini paintings (which can be sealed and used as coasters).
Tweens met a live Blanding’s turtle and learned about this species as they sketched their subject. Check out their sketches and how much the turtle liked hanging at the library! We had a Stuffed Animal Sleepover this month at Pajamarama! Twenty animals were dropped off ahead of time and we took pictures of their adventures all over the library. Families joined us on Tuesday for fun stories about sleeping, like “The Stuffed Animals Get Ready for Bed” by Alison Inches, then we sang and danced with our friends. At this month’s Pajamarama, we read books about hibernation, including, “Go Home, Little One,” by Cate James. Then we created a nice place for our craft bear to rest. Enjoy the photos!
