Saying Farewell To The Old Library

Say goodbye to the library as you have known it. We’ve emptied the existing building and moved into the addition. Phase two has begun. Here are some of the final photos of the old space that we’ll get to show you for a while as the space is now being renovated. The next time you see it, you probably won’t recognize it! We’ll see you on April 26.

Halfway There – Week of 4-11-2021

The last cart of books has been moved into the new part of the library. As you can see, what was once empty is now full and what was once full is now empty… Say goodbye to the old library, the next time you see it, you might not recognize it with its FRESH new appearance!

Phase 2 begins. Renovations and construction on the original library building has started. They are getting to work on the drive-up window and new entrance.

Library Board Vacancy

The Huntley Area Public Library District currently has one vacancy on its Board of Trustees. The library is seeking a library district resident to serve as the newest board member for a term of four years. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of the library as we continue to progress toward completion of our new building project!
