Eye Spy Huntley (Summer 2020)

As part of the Eye Spy 2020 adult/teen summer reading challenge, we asked participants to share some of their experiences as they completed activities to earn the “Eye Spy Huntley” badge. These included ordering from local restaurants, exploring the outdoors, taking a self-guided tour of the Huntley Square (and learning a little local history along the way), and looking out for and learning to identify local birds (backyard birding). Zentangle Springkle Bookmarks (June 2020) Gallery

Annie Reiser, certified Zentangle instructor, guided participants through the creation of a bookmark using several different tangles (primarily the Springkle tangle) in a live virtual class she presented for the Huntley Area Public Library in June 2020. Project Tween: Love Your Library Projects (February 2020) Gallery

Tweens designed and decorated a book/tote bag and made buttons to show their love for the library.  We provided all the supplies for kids ages 10-14 in this 90 minute class.  Check out the photos! The library will be closed on Sunday, March 31 for the Easter Holiday. Book drops will also be closed beginning at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 30.
