In the beginning there was a fire. Nancy found a ring and a diary. A family that they knew was not that wealthy and the dad had been gone for a long time. The owners of the house that burned down were not nice. They were very wealthy because they were taking inventor’s money. The family that was not wealthy’s dad was an inventor. His invention was stolen by the wealthy family. The wealthy family ended up going to jail and the not so wealthy family end up getting their money back.
The part that I liked about the book is that there was always something at the end of the chapter that kept me reading. The part that I disliked about it is that it was not moving that fast in the beginning. Then, at the end it started to move faster and was more exciting.
