This book is about a boy named Jacob who is accused of killing a classmate. He goes on a journey where his father, who is also the narrator, tries his hardest to defend his son. Towards the ending there is a huge twist and I would totally recommend this book!

“Defending Jacob” was about a boy named Jacob who has been accused of killing his “friend” named Ben. Jacob’s father, Andy, and mother, Laurie, throughout the book try their best to defend their child even though Andy found a knife in his room that looked like a killing knife.

Review #3
* * * * Stars (Great!)
“Defending Jacob” is about a lawyer’s son who gets convicted of murder. Despite what Andy wants, he is forced to give up his role as his son’s defense attorney. However, he still has to face a terrible question: Is his son a killer? I liked it overall because of the twists and turns in the plot. The storyline was also very interesting and the characters were well-developed.
