The main plot of the novel is the mystery that has surrounded the so-called “Murder House” for decades. It seems that whoever lives in the house for more than a day are cursed. Men, women, and children all seem to be victim to this unforgivable curse. Overall, Detective Murphy must try to solve the mystery of a secluded family cult that has brought turmoil onto many people throughout the years. Overall, due to the characters and suspense, this book was great!
