“Girl in Translation” is about a young girl named Kimberly and her mom moving from Hong Kong to Brooklyn, New York. What I liked about this book was the way Kimberly overcame the issues that she faced during the time she was adjusting with her aunt refusing to help, her teacher disgusted with her English, and much more. What I disliked about the book was the way the characters didn’t give Kimberly a chance when she first arrived.

This book is about a girl named Kimberly who recently moved from Asia to the US. Throughout the book, Kim experiences hardships and challenges and shows the different worlds she lives in. Her education life and her job life working in the factory with her mother. I would recommend this book! 🙂
