Here’s what happens after the official story of the Twelve Dancing Princesses comes to an end. One of the princesses meets and marries the love of her life, but before they have a chance to experience married bliss, Imelda is poisoned and when her new husband Ambrose vows to do anything to save her, the price is their love for one another. This picks up the story after they are evicted from their home (Love’s Keep) after a year and a day (the punishment for having lost their love). And while they’ve failed to make any progress on their relationship, Imelda has developed a taste for independence (something she never had under the rule of her strict, over-protective father), and Ambrose has found a sense of self and accomplishment he never thought he’d discovered as the middle son. There might just be a way to save themselves, but they’ll have to work together to overcome the obstacles on their quest. Short, sweet, and fun. Fans of fairy tale retellings should enjoy this one. For teens and adults.
